Words will never express the emotions I felt on October 13th, 2009...

Aside from having three days of no school, I have decided that if I died soon I could leave this Earth very Peacefully...
I got to meet Metallica...
They played at the Target Center with opening acts "Gojira" and "Lamb Of God", and before they entered the arena with that lethal dose of Metal, I had the opportunity to Meet four guys that forever changed my life in so many ways. Those guys are known as James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Rob Trujillo, and Kirk Hammett.
They were all very friendly and very loving. We talked for what seemed like 9 hours about guitars, girls, friends and family, Cliff Burton, Music history, and Heavy-Metal. But, As I say...
"When you meet the love of your life, time slows down. Sadly, it speeds up to get back in step with itself."
For nearly 2 hours, The heavenly sound of that sweet, bloody, sadistic thing called "Metallica", tore into my soul and left my heart cracked and dripping with happiness. I was in perfect harmony with the band that guided me from suicide, drug addiction, insanity, fear, and a future paved in self-destruction. And helped me find love, Music, education, peace, confidance, and a good understanding of life and it's meaning. Because of them, I'm still here. And I'm not fucking quitting!
About half-way through the setlist, emotions ran high and I eventually broke into tears of joy and cried all the rest of the way through their performance. It was the most overwhelming thing I have ever been through.
All in all, It was BY-FUCKING-FAR THE BEST CONCERT I HAVE BEEN TO. It's only been one day and already the memories are starting to come back and the Minneapolis crowd has been crowned the loudest crowd of the tour by drummer, Lars Ulrich. And I helped! In fact, you can hear me on Kirks second solo faintly screaming "IT'S BEAUTIFUL MR. HAMMETT!"!
